Can You Use Cheats Online in GTA IV?

No. Rockstar's anti-cheat blocks all cheat codes, trainers, and mods in GTA IV multiplayer (Free Mode, races, etc.).

Consequences

• Instant Kick / Ban: Detection → temporary or permanent suspension from GTA Online (Social Club).
• Stat Wipe: Progress, money, rank reset.
• Bad Sport Lobby: Repeated offenses pool you with other cheaters.

Single-Player Cheats

Cheats are available in story mode (phone numbers), but they disable achievements and auto-save. Enter via in-game phone:

• Health/Armor: 362-555-0100
• Weapons (tier 1): 486-555-0150
• Weapons (tier 2): 486-555-0100
• Spawn Annihilator heli: 359-555-0100

Use only offline; never bring a modded save online.
