Entering Bakugan Ball Codes in Nintendo DS Game? Not Supported—DS Has No RFID Reader

No. The DS game Bakugan Battle Brawlers (and Defenders of the Core) does not read physical ball codes.

How the DS Game Works

• You build a digital collection by winning battles, completing story, or entering in-game codes (from packaging, promo cards, Nintendo Power)
• Physical Bakugan balls have a DNA code (under the base) for the online Bakugan Dimensions (PC browser, shut down 2012) and the Wii game (which had a USB portal reader)

DS-Specific Codes (Example)

• Drago (Pyrus): 4892-1735-6284 (varies by region/print)
• Check GameFAQs → Bakugan Battle Brawlers (DS) → Codes for full list

Bottom line: DS cartridge has no RFID/portal reader. Codes are typed manually from paper inserts.
