Can You Get FaceTime on Nintendo DSi? No—Here's Why

FaceTime is exclusive to Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch). It requires:

• Apple's proprietary protocols (APNs, STUN/TURN servers)
• iOS / macOS / watchOS — the DSi runs a custom Nintendo OS
• Hardware video encoding (H.264/HEVC) — DSi cameras are 0.3 MP VGA, no hardware encoder
