Can You Still Get Nintendo DSi Points? No—Shop Closed in 2017

You cannot obtain Nintendo DSi Points anymore.

• DSi Shop Closed: March 31, 2017 (purchases). March 31, 2018 (redownloads).
• Points Cards: No longer sold or redeemable.
• Balance: Any remaining points were forfeited; no refund or transfer to eShop/NNID.

What Still Works

• Previously Downloaded Titles: Games/apps already on the DSi/3DS (via System Transfer) remain playable.
• Physical Cartridges: All DS/3DS game cards work normally.
• DSiWare on 3DS: Some titles migrated to 3DS eShop (closed March 2023). If bought there, redownloadable on 3DS family only.

Modern Path

Upgrade to Nintendo 3DS (plays all DS/DSiWare via backward compat) or Nintendo Switch (new library). DSi hardware is obsolete for digital acquisition.
