Downloading Games on Nintendo DS: Not Possible—Use 3DS/Switch for Digital

You cannot download games directly on a Nintendo DS via Wi-Fi.

Why

• No eShop/app store.
• Cartridge-only architecture.
• Limited online: multiplayer/updates only, no full-game downloads.

How to Get DS Games

1. Buy physical cartridges (retail/online).
2. ROMs (not recommended): Digital copies—illegal without ownership, malware risk.

Modern Handhelds With Digital Stores

• Nintendo 3DS: eShop (closing 2023, but installed games work).
• Nintendo Switch: Robust eShop, huge library.
• PlayStation Vita: Digital store (legacy).

Respect copyright. Buy legit.
