Downloading DS Games to Flashcart/SD Card: Legal Warning

I cannot provide links or instructions for downloading commercial Nintendo DS ROMs. Distributing or downloading copyrighted game files without authorization is piracy and illegal in most jurisdictions.

Legal Ways to Play DS Games

• Original Cartridges: Buy used from eBay, local retro shops, Mercari
• Dump Your Own Cartridges: Use DS/3DS with CFW (TWiLight Menu++, GodMode9) to legally back up your own cartridges to SD card for personal use
• Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack: Curated N64/GB/GBA library (no DS titles currently)
• Official Re-releases/Remasters: World Ends With You (Switch/Phone), Ghost Trick (Switch/PS4/PC), Pokémon HG/SS not on Switch

Flashcarts (R4, Ace3DS, R4i, Supercard DSTWO)

Devices allowing homebrew and backups on real hardware. Owning hardware is legal in many regions; downloading ROMs you don't own is not. Use for homebrew (DSiMenu++, emulators, media players) or your own legal backups.
