Can You Change Your Name in Nintendogs After Starting?

No. Your trainer name is set during initial setup and **cannot be changed** in Nintendogs (any version).

If you want a different name, you must **delete your save file and start a new game**.

What You *Can* Rename

• Your Dog(s): Tap the name at the top of the touchscreen during care/walk → keyboard appears.
• Hotel/Interior: Some versions let you name the hotel.

Choose your trainer name carefully at the start—it’s permanent.
