Nintendogs Has No "Treats" — Use Toys, Petting, Training & Walks Instead

There are no "treats" in Nintendogs. The game uses a different reward system:

• Toys: Buy balls, frisbees, pull toys, etc. Playing raises affection and obedience.
• Petting: Stylus stroking on the touchscreen builds bond and calms the pup.
• Training: Complete obedience/agility trials → earn Trainer Points → unlock new breeds, interiors, contests, and items.
• Walks: Find presents, meet other dogs, practice recall.

Consistent daily care (food, water, walks, play, training) is the "treat" that keeps your virtual pup happy and progressing.
