How to Play GBA Games on Nintendo DS (Phat/Lite Only)

Only on DS "Phat" or DS Lite. They have **Slot-2 (GBA cartridge slot)** on the bottom.

Steps

1. Insert GBA cartridge into **bottom slot (Slot-2)**. Label facing **down** (toward back of console).
2. Power on DS.
3. Touch **Game Boy Advance** icon on main menu (or press Start on GBA boot screen).
4. Plays natively. Saves to cartridge.

DSi / 3DS / 2DS

No Slot-2. Cannot insert GBA cart.

Adapter Myth

No "DS Lite GBA Slot Adapter" exists for DSi/3DS. The slot is physically absent.

Playing GBA on DSi/3DS (Homebrew)

1. Install CFW: Unlaunch + HiyaCFW (DSi) / Luma3DS (3DS).
2. Install GBARunner2 (GBA emulator) / GameYob (GB/GBC).
3. Put ROMs on SD card → Play.
