  • GB/GBC: Never natively on any DS/3DS. Use GameYob emulator (homebrew) on DSi/3DS.
  • GBA on DS/DS Lite: Native hardware. No emulation. Perfect compatibility. Saves to cartridge.
  • GBA on DSi/3DS: Slot-2 removed. Only via Virtual Console (3DS eShop — 10 Ambassador titles only) or GBARunner2 (homebrew emulator on DSi/3DS).
