Using a Nintendo DS Lite Charger in Australia: Check Voltage & Plug Adapter
Depends on the charger's label:
Input: 100–240 V ~ 50/60 Hz → Works in Australia (230 V). You only need a Type I (AU) plug adapter (US/JP flat pins → AU angled pins).
Input: 110 V only → Requires a step-down voltage converter (230 V → 110 V)plus a plug adapter. Rare for official Nintendo chargers; common on cheap third-party units.
Check the brick's printed specs. Official Nintendo DS Lite chargers (model WAP-002) are universal 100–240 V. Always use genuine or certified adapters to avoid fire risk.
