PictoChat on Nintendo DS: Range and Functionality Explained

There is no game called "Pictochat." PictoChat is a built-in application on the original Nintendo DS and DS Lite (not DSi/3DS, which have PictoChat replaced by other features).

It doesn't have a fixed "radius." Range depends on wireless signal strength between DS systems (typically 30–100 feet / 10–30 meters in open air).

Key Facts

• Pre-installed; no download needed.
• Allows drawing and text chat with nearby DS users.
• Uses local wireless (ad-hoc), not the internet.

It's a local communication toy, not an online service.
