Internet Unlock Code on Nintendo DSi – Doesn't Exist

There is no "internet unlock code" for the Nintendo DSi. The console connects to Wi-Fi directly — no code required.

How to Connect (Standard)

1. System Settings (wrench icon) → Internet → Connection Settings.
2. Choose "None" → Search for Access Point.
3. Select your SSID → Enter WPA/WPA2 password (DSi supports WPA2-AES; original DS only WEP).
4. Test Connection → Success.

Common Confusions

• Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection (WFC) "Friend Codes": Per-game 12-digit codes for multiplayer — not an internet unlock.
• DSi Shop / Nintendo Points: Purchase points (credit card / prepaid card) to buy DSiWare. No "unlock code."
• Parental Controls PIN: 4-digit PIN to restrict internet / purchases. If forgotten: Inquiry Number → Nintendo Parental Controls Reset (requires email on file).
• Homebrew / Unlaunch / HiyaCFW: Custom firmware to run homebrew/ROMs. Not an "internet code" — requires SD card exploit (Memory Pit, Flipnote Lenny).
