Training Best Practices

  1. Quiet room: Mic picks up background noise.
  2. Consistent command word: Use exact same phrase every time (case-insensitive).
  3. Short sessions: 5–10 mins, 2–3× daily. Puppies tire.
  4. High-value rewards: Jerky treats > biscuits. Pet + praise always.
  5. Progressive criteria: Reward attempt → reward completion → reward speed/precision.
  6. Competition prep: Obedience Trial needs 3 tricks flawless. Agility needs Jump + Come.

Every dog learns at different pace. Patience > repetition. The “!” icon means “learning”; “★” means mastered.
