DSiWare Games on Original Nintendo DS: Not Compatible

No. DSiWare requires DSi/DSi XL/3DS hardware:

• CPU: DSi has faster ARM9/ARM7 processors plus extra RAM.
• OS: DSi firmware supports .dsi/.app format; DS/DS Lite only run .nds cartridges.
• Features: DSiWare uses cameras, SD slot, internal flash—absent on DS/DS Lite.

Backward compatibility is one-way: DSi plays DS cartridges; DS cannot run DSiWare.
