Getting 99 of Everything in Nintendogs: Impossible by Design

You cannot obtain 99 of every item in Nintendogs. Hard caps exist:

• Inventory Slots: Limited per category (food, toys, accessories, care).
• No Cheat Codes: Nintendo omitted cheat systems entirely.
• Action Replay (DS) Codes: Exist for max money/trainer points, but item quantity codes corrupt save files (checksum mismatch → "Save data corrupted" on boot).

Legitimate Maxing Strategy:

1. Walk daily → find presents → sell duplicates → buy consumables.
2. Enter Disc Competitions (Agility/Obedience) → win $500–$1,000 + rare items.
3. Use "Bark Mode" (local wireless) to swap items with friends.
