Nintendogs Game ID: Doesn't Exist – How to Identify Your Version

Nintendogs has no unique Game ID per cartridge. Identification methods:

• Version Title: Cartridge label / Title Screen shows: Nintendogs: Labrador & Friends, Chihuahua & Friends, Dachshund & Friends (US); Shiba & Friends (JP), etc.
• Save Data: Unique dogs, names, trainer points, donations, contest ribbons.
• Region Code: Last letter of cartridge code (E=USA, P=Europe, J=Japan) — e.g., NTR-ANDE-USA.

Online Play (Defunct): Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection (WFC) shut down May 2014. No official online features work. Homebrew (Wiimmfi) restores limited functionality for modded consoles only.
