Nintendogs: "Supplies" & "Go Out" Icons Missing – Fixes

Missing icons in Nintendogs usually indicate a save data issue, cartridge contact problem, or progression lock. Try these in order:

1. Restart the Game: Fully power off DS/3DS (hold Power 4 sec), reinsert cartridge firmly, restart.
2. Check Progression: "Go Out" (walk) unlocks after the tutorial (first walk with tutor). "Supplies" unlocks after first contest or shop visit. If you're early in the game, keep playing.
3. Clean Cartridge Contacts: Use 90%+ isopropyl alcohol on a cotton swab; clean gold pins on cartridge. Let dry.
4. Clean DS Slot: Blow compressed air into slot; insert/remove cartridge 5–10 times to wipe oxidation.
5. Test Another Game: If other games glitch, the DS cartridge slot or motherboard is failing.
6. Check for Flashcart / Action Replay: If using a flashcart, try a clean ROM. Cheat codes can corrupt overlays.
7. Corrupt Save: Backup save (if possible via homebrew), then delete save data in-game (Options → Delete Save) and start new. Last resort.

Version Note: Nintendogs (Labrador, Chihuahua, Dachshund) and Nintendogs + Cats (3DS) have slightly different unlock orders. Ensure you're not confusing them.
