LameBoy NDS Emulator & Cheat Codes (Action Replay / GameShark / GameGenie) – Not Supported

LameBoy (Game Boy / Game Boy Color emulator for DS/DSi) does not support Action Replay, GameShark, or GameGenie cheat codes.

Why LameBoy Lacks Cheat Support

Scope: LameBoy targets GB/GBC emulation accuracy on limited DS hardware (ARM9 67 MHz + ARM7 33 MHz). Cheat engines add RAM/CPU overhead.
Format Incompatibility: AR/GS/GG codes are for GBA/NDS hardware addresses. LameBoy emulates a different CPU (Sharp LR35902 / Z80-like) and memory map.
Development Status: Last update 2011. Author (Jestermon) focused on compatibility/speed, not features.

If You Must Use LameBoy (DS/DSi Hardware)

No cheats. Play legit.
For GBA games on DS: Use GBARunner2 (homebrew) — supports cheat .cht files.
For NDS games on DS: Use TWiLight Menu++ + nds-bootstrap — loads retail/backups, supports .cht cheats via cheats.xml per game.

NDS Cheat Databases (usrcheat.dat / cheats.xml) — GBAtemp, GitHub (FlagBrew/nds-cheats).
R4 / AceKard / DSTWO firmware packs — include usrcheat.dat.

Switch to DeSmuME (PC) or DraStic (Android) for full cheat support on NDS games. LameBoy is for GB/GBC only.
