I can't link specific URLs (sites change, safety varies). Instead, use these trusted discovery methods to find your next MMORPG.

Curated Lists & Reviews

• MMORPG.com — Database, reviews, "Free to Play" filter, population charts.
• Massively Overpowered — News, columns, "Choose My Next MMO" guide.
• Reddit: r/MMORPG — Daily "What should I play?" threads, veteran recommendations.
• Steam / Epic / Battle.net / Launcher Stores — Filter "MMO" + "Free to Play" → sort by User Reviews.

Before You Start

1. Watch 2024 "State of the Game" YouTube videos (e.g., MMO Byte, LazyPeon, Josh Strife Hayes).
2. Check population (SteamCharts, MMO-Population.com) — avoid dead servers.
3. Try the free trial / starter edition — most offer substantial content free.
4. Read monetization details — P2W? Cosmetic only? Battle pass? Sub required?

Best starting point: FFXIV Free Trial (no time limit, up to Lv 70 + Heavensward) — widely considered the best onboarding experience.
