Unlocking Dogs in Nintendogs — New Game, Breeding, No Trading

No traditional "unlocks." Expand your roster by:

• New game: Each fresh file offers a different starter breed set.
• Breeding: Pair compatible dogs → wait for puppies (new breeds/appearances).
• Wi-Fi trading (defunct): Nintendogs + Cats allowed trading; Nintendo WFC shut down 2014.

Breeding and new saves are the only ways now.
