Minecraft Xbox 360 Online Multiplayer: Full Version + Gold Required

Yes, you need the full version of Minecraft on Xbox 360 to play online multiplayer. The trial/demo version does not support online play.

• Xbox Live Gold subscription required (for online multiplayer on 360).
• Game must be owned (disc or digital full purchase).
• Multiplayer license is included with the full game—no separate purchase.

Local split-screen (2–4 players) works without Gold or internet. Just sign in additional controllers on the same console.

Note: Xbox 360 edition (TU73 final update) is feature-frozen. For current updates, cross-play, and infinite worlds, play Minecraft (Bedrock) on Xbox One/Series, Switch, PC, or mobile.
