Tekken 5 Has No Official Online Play — Workarounds Exist Only on PC

Not officially. Tekken 5 (2005) launched before console online infrastructure was standard. Bandai Namco never added online multiplayer to the PS2 version.

Workarounds (PC Only)

• PCSX2 Emulator + Netplay: Requires powerful PC, configuration, and a friend with same setup. Unstable.
• Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection (PS3/PSP): Had online lobbies, but servers are shut down.

Best Modern Option: Tekken 7 (PS4/5, Xbox, PC) features robust rollback netcode and active player base.
