How to Sell Video Games to GameStop (In-Store Only)

You cannot sell video games to GameStop online.

Why

• GameStop only buys used games in-store to physically inspect condition and determine trade-in value.
• They have no online buying program for used games.

How to Sell In-Store

1. Find nearest GameStop via website/app.
2. Bring games with cases and accessories.
3. Staff assesses condition (scratches, damage, completeness).
4. GameStop offers trade-in credit based on condition and market demand.
5. Accept (credit toward purchase) or decline (take games back).

Pro Tip

Check GameStop's website/app for trade-in promotions (bonus credit for specific titles/periods) before visiting.
