How to Register PS3 Wireless Guitars

"Rock Band" and "Guitar Hero" have soared in popularity since late 2005; each allows players to use controllers in the shape of guitars and play along with music. "Guitar Hero 3" introduced the first controllers to be free of wires, allowing for much more movement and letting players rock out from any distance. The PlayStation 3 isn&'t capable of reading the wireless function from the guitars by itself; it requires the use of a dongle, which comes with the guitars.
