Super Smash Bros. on PS3? Never—Nintendo Exclusive

Super Smash Bros. will never release on PlayStation. It's a first-party Nintendo franchise (developed by Bandai Namco/Sora Ltd., published by Nintendo). Nintendo and Sony are direct competitors. The series has appeared only on Nintendo platforms: N64, GCN, Wii, Wii U, 3DS, Switch.

For crossover fighters on PlayStation, try PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale (PS3/Vita) or MultiVersus (PS4/PS5/PC).
