Using the Phone in GTA IV (PS3)

The in-game phone is your menu hub — no separate "mobile" gameplay.

Controls (PS3)

1. Press Up on D-pad → phone opens.
2. Navigate with Left Stick / D-pad.
3. X = Select / Call. Circle = Back / Hang up.

Phone Functions

• Contacts: Call Roman, Brucie, Little Jacob, etc. for missions, activities, backup.
• Messages: Read texts (mission updates, spam).
• Organizer: Sleep (save), Stats, Video Editor (PC only).
• Camera: Snap photos (saved to PS3 XMB → Photo).
• Multiplayer: Join/Invite to online modes.
• Cheats: Dial codes (e.g., 486-555-0150 = weapons) — disables achievements.

No Smartphone Features

No web browser, GPS map, music player, or app store. Those arrive in GTA V (iFruit phone).
