How to Get Ascension Zombies Map for Black Ops on PS3: No Longer Purchasable

You can no longer purchase the Ascension map (or any Black Ops DLC) on PS3.

Why

• PS3 Store closed July 2021 – no new purchases
• DLC was never sold separately after the Rezurrection bundle (all 4 WaW maps + 5 BO1 maps)
• Rezurrection delisted with the store

Only Options Now

1. Used physical copy of Black Ops with Rezurrection code (limited editions, GameStop bundles). Code must be unredeemed—rare.
2. Account with DLC already licensed: If you bought it pre-2021, it's in your Download List → re-download on same PS3 (if servers allow).
3. Play on PC / Xbox 360 / PS4 (back compat): DLC still purchasable on those stores (Steam, Xbox Marketplace).
4. Modded PS3 (CFW/HEN): Install Rezurrection PKG from preservation archives—legal gray area, requires CFW.

If you just want to play Ascension, the PC version (Steam) with all DLC is often < $10 on sale and runs on modest hardware.
