Comfort is subjective—hand size, grip style, and genre preference decide.
Pros: Asymmetrical stick layout (natural thumb rest), sculpted triggers, textured grips, widely cloned ergo standard.
Cons: D-pad mushy (improved on later "transforming" D-pad), sticks close (thumb collision for large hands).
Pros: Excellent D-pad (fighting games), symmetrical sticks (some prefer), lighter, pressure-sensitive face buttons, Sixaxis motion.
Cons: Triggers convex/slippery (L2/R2), narrower grip (cramp for large hands), no native PC driver (needs DS3 Tool/ScpToolkit).
Try both if possible. Many fight-stick adapters let you use either on PC.
