How to Play Games Purchased from the PlayStation Store
1. Prepare Your Console
Connect your PlayStation (PS4 or PS5) to the internet.
Sign in to your PlayStation Network (PSN) account — the same one used for the purchase.
2. Download the Game
Go to the PlayStation Store icon on the home screen.
Navigate to Your Library or Purchased.
Find the title and select Download. On PS5, you can also use the Game Library from the main menu.
3. Installation
Modern PlayStation consoles install games automatically during the download process. You can monitor progress in the Downloads section (accessible via the notifications icon or the Game Library).
4. Launch the Game
After installation, the game icon appears on your Home screen and in your Game Library.
Select the icon to start playing.
Important Notes
PlayStation Plus: Required for online multiplayer in most paid games. Free-to-play titles (e.g., Fortnite, Apex Legends) do not require a subscription.
Primary Console: Set your console as "Primary" (Settings > Users and Accounts > Other > Console Sharing and Offline Play) to allow other users on the same console to play your purchased games.
Remote Play / App: You can initiate downloads remotely via the PlayStation website or the PlayStation App on iOS/Android.
