3D TVs are dead. No current PlayStation (PS4/PS5) supports 3D gaming. Sony removed 3D output in PS4 firmware 1.70 (2014). Buying a used 3D TV for PlayStation is a bad investment.
| Feature | Why It Matters | Target Spec |

| VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) | Eliminates screen tear/stutter without VSync lag. PS5 supports HDMI Forum VRR. | FreeSync Premium / HDMI Forum VRR certified |
| Input Lag | Time from button press to pixel change. Critical for competitive. | < 15ms (Game Mode), < 10ms ideal |
| Panel Type | OLED: perfect blacks, instant response. Mini-LED: bright, no burn-in. VA/IPS: budget. | OLED (LG C/G series, Sony A95L) or Mini-LED (Samsung QN90C, TCL QM8) |
Buy for 4K120 VRR HDR. 3D is a museum piece.
