Minecraft: PlayStation Vita Edition was delisted from the PlayStation Store in 2018, and its servers were shut down in 2021. You cannot purchase, download, or play online with it anymore. Physical cartridges exist second-hand but cannot receive updates or access online features.
| Platform | Version | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Nintendo Switch | Bedrock Edition | Cross-play, current updates, docked/handheld |
| iOS / Android | Bedrock Edition | Touch controls, cross-play, marketplace |
| Windows 10/11 | Bedrock Edition | Cross-play, keyboard/mouse or controller |
| PC (Java) | Java Edition | Mods, servers, snapshots; not on Vita |
| Homebrew Vita | Minecraft PE port | Via VitaDB (requires HENkaku/Enso); legal only if you own Bedrock license |
For the best portable experience in 2024, the Switch version is unmatched. If you already own a Vita and have CFW, the homebrew port is a fun curiosity—but it's no substitute for the actively supported Bedrock edition.
