How to Register for Toys for Tots

Toys for Tots, originally founded in 1947, is a United States Marine Corp Reserve non-profit organization. Each year, October through December, Toys for Tots collects new toys for children whose parents cannot afford Christmas gifts. In 2009, Toys for Tots collected and gave out close 5 million toys. If you want to register to receive toys for your children or other children, the process is simple.

  Visit the Toys for Tots official website. On the top of the page click "Request Toys."

  Search for a local campaign. On the "Request Toys" page, you do this by selecting your state and selecting then your county. The website will redirect you to the website of your local Toys for Tots program.

  Select your registration request. To register your children or children of another family, select the "Toys Request Form." To register an event, select the "Tell Us About Your Event" form. If you want register to receive Toys for Tots promotional materials, choose the "Request Supplies" form. Alternatively, you can also register to become a Toy for Tots drop-off site by choosing "Become a Toy for Tots Drop Site."

  Fill out the request form. Depending on the form you choose, requested information can include number of children and their ages, event dates and times, business name, types of supplies and quantity of boxes needed for toys. Once you fill and submit the form, someone from the local campaign will contact you with contact information you provided.
