Making Sims Pregnant in The Sims 2: No Cheat Needed

There is no cheat code to force pregnancy in The Sims 2. Pregnancy happens through normal gameplay:

Standard Method:

1. Two Sims (Young Adult+) with high romantic relationship (~80+).
2. Double bed on lot (owned by household).
3. Select one Sim → Try for Baby (under Romantic interactions).
4. If successful, a lullaby plays; pregnancy lasts 3 Sim days.

Factors Affecting Success:

• Fertility: Base chance ~50-60%. Increased by: Fertility Treatment lifetime reward (20k points), Eat 3 Watermelons (girl), Eat 3 Apples (boy) during pregnancy (gender only).
• Relationship: Higher = better odds.
• Age: Young Adult/Adult only. Elders cannot get pregnant (male elders can father).

If It's Not Working:

• Check bed access (both sides free).
• Ensure household < 8 Sims.
• ResetSim (cheat: testingcheatsenabled true → shift-click Sim → Reset Object).
• Mods: InTeenimator (adds teen pregnancy, fertility control) – PC only.
