Legitimate Ways to Get Rare Candies in Pokémon Green

1. Item Finder (Dowsing Machine): Hidden Rare Candies in:
   • Cerulean Cave (B1F)
   • Pokémon Mansion (Cinnabar)
   • Victory Road
   • Seafoam Islands
   • Power Plant
   • Various routes (check tile-by-tile).
2. Pickup Ability (Not in Gen 1): Gen 1 has no Pickup. Only Gen 2+.
3. Trade with Friends: Link Cable trade for Rare Candy held by traded Pokémon.
4. Casino (Celadon Game Corner): Buy coins → exchange for Rare Candy (2100 coins). Slow but guaranteed.
5. Duplicate Glitch (Gen 1 Only — “MissingNo.” / Old Man Trick):
   • Talk to Old Man in Viridian (watch catch demo).
   • Fly to Cinnabar, Surf on east coast (half-land/half-water tiles).
   • Encounter MissingNo. / ’M → 6th item slot ×128 (if <128).
