Can You Use Cheat Engine Money on RuneScape? No—Ban Risk

Impossible and bannable.

Why It Fails

• Server-authoritative economy: Gold/items exist only on Jagex servers. Client-side memory edits (Cheat Engine) change local display only—server rejects invalid transactions.
• Detection: Jagex's Botwatch / heuristic systems flag impossible gains, altered packets, memory anomalies → permanent ban.
• Account security: Cheat Engine downloads often bundle keyloggers/RATs.

Legit Money Making (OSRS / RS3)

• Skilling: Runecraft (natures/laws/astrals), Hunter (chins/red chins), Woodcutting (magics/yews), Fishing (sharks/anglers).
• PvM: Bossing (Zulrah, Vorkath, Nex, Kerapac), Slayer tasks, Revenants.
• Flipping: GE margin trading (buy low, sell high).
• Dailies: Vis wax, battlestaff, herb runs, kingdom management.

Play legit—bans are permanent, appeals rarely succeed.
