Cheats for The Sims Deluxe Edition

The original The Sims Deluxe Edition (2002 bundle of base game + Livin' Large EP) has no official cheat codes. Maxis never released a cheat console for the first game.

What You Can Do Instead

• Custom Content (CC): Thousands of free downloads—furniture, clothing, skins, objects, walls/floors. Sites: Mod The Sims, The Sims Resource (TSR), Simpliciaty, creator Patreons.
• Mods / Hacks: SimBlender (object spawner), InSimenator (neighborhood control), No CD crack (for disc-free play), widescreen patches.
• "Motherlode" is for later games: That cheat debuted in The Sims 2. In TS1, money is earned only through jobs, selling items, or the rosebud / klapaucius codes—which only work in unpatched original releases (pre-Deluxe).

Recommendation

If you want a cheat-heavy Sims experience, play The Sims 2, 3, or 4—all have robust cheat consoles (testingcheatsenabled true, motherlode, freerealestate, etc.). For TS1, embrace the grind or use CC to decorate faster.
