How to Get Past Icy Lakes in Drawn to Life (Nintendo DS)

There is no mechanic to walk or skate across icy lakes in Drawn to Life. The ice is a visual barrier, not a traversable surface. If a frozen lake blocks your path, the solution is always environmental.

Standard Solutions

• Alternate Paths: Explore the screen edges. Hidden passages, climbable vines, or breakable walls often bypass the water
• Hero Abilities: Use the specific power unlocked in that village (e.g., Wings to fly over, Snowshoes for snow, Flippers for water—though ice may still block)
• Drawing Mechanic: You may need to draw a Bridge, Platform, or Spring at a designated template spot nearby
• Environmental Switches: Hit a switch, melt the ice with a fire enemy/projectile, or push a block
