Extremely unlikely. Nitrome has not released games on Nintendo DS and almost certainly won't in the future.
Reasons:
Platform Dead: Nintendo DS hardware production ended in 2014. The eShop closed in March 2023. No new commercial DS games are released.
Nitrome's Focus: They specialize in HTML5/web games (playable on mobile/desktop browsers) and mobile ports (iOS/Android) of their classic Flash titles.
Business Model: Their games are free-to-play with ads or premium mobile purchases. DS cartridges require manufacturing, licensing, and retail distribution—economically unviable for a small studio.
Where to Play Nitrome Games Now:
Website:nitrome.com (HTML5 ports of classics like Ice Breaker, Twin Shot, Bad Ice-Cream).
Mobile: Search "Nitrome" on App Store / Google Play for touch-optimized versions.
Steam: Some titles like Bomb Chicken and Super Leap Day are on PC.
