Does Wipeout on Nintendo DS Have Multiplayer?

Wipeout (DS) Multiplayer Support

No. The Nintendo DS version of Wipeout (titled Wipeout Pure in some regions) is a single-player only game. It does not support local wireless (DS Download Play) or Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection multiplayer.

Series Context

• Other Wipeout titles (PSP, PS3, PS Vita) feature robust online and ad-hoc multiplayer.
• The DS hardware's limitations and the game's development focus led to the omission of multiplayer modes.

If you want anti-gravity racing with friends, look to Wipeout Pure/Pulse on PSP or Wipeout HD on PS3.
