How Many Mario Games Exist on Nintendo? No Exact Count—Definitions Vary

There's no exact count because definitions vary:

• Starring Mario vs. cameo? (e.g., Mario Kart, Smash Bros.)
• All consoles? NES, SNES, N64, GameCube, Wii, Switch, Game Boy, DS, 3DS...
• Remakes/ports count separately? Many games re-released across systems

Ask a specific question for a precise answer:

• "How many mainline Mario platformers on SNES?"
• "How many Mario Kart games on Nintendo DS?"
• "Games where Luigi is playable?"
