Fun Sites for Nintendo DSi Browser: Very Limited in 2024

The DSi Browser (Opera-based, NetFront 3.5) is effectively dead. It supports only basic HTML/CSS, no JavaScript, no CSS3, no HTML5, no Flash, no HTTPS (TLS 1.0 only). Most modern sites fail or redirect to unsupported pages.

What Might Still Load (2024)

• Textise Dot Iitty: https://textise.net/showtext.aspx?strURL= + URL → plain text.
• Wikipedia (Mobile Lite): https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/ — mostly works.
• Google Search (Basic HTML): https://www.google.com/search?q= — simple results.
• DSi-Specific Homebrew Portals: https://dsibrew.org/, https://www.dsiscene.net/ (archived).
• Retro Game Wikis (Text-heavy): https://wiki.ngb.to/, https://strategywiki.org/.

Better Alternatives

• DSiWare (Shop Closed 2017): Previously downloaded titles still work. Flipnote Studio, Art Academy, Birds & Beans.
• Homebrew (CFW / HiyaCFW / TWiLight Menu++): Run nds-bootstrap (DS games from SD), GBARunner2, emulators (NES, SNES, GB, GBC, SMS, GG). Best use of DSi in 2024.
• 3DS / 2DS / Switch: Modern browsers, eShops, huge libraries.

Bottom Line: DSi Browser is a curiosity. Install TWiLight Menu++ (guide: ds-homebrew.com) and turn your DSi into a retro handheld powerhouse.
