How to Access the Shop in Nintendogs: Walk Your Dog, Return Home, Tap Shopping Bag Icon

You don't physically "walk" to a shop. Instead, the shop appears as an icon on the touch screen after you've progressed slightly:

1. Register your first dog and take it for a walk (tap the "Go Out" icon → "Walk").
2. Return home. A small shopping-bag icon (a building with a bag) will appear on the lower screen.
3. Tap the icon to open the shop.

What You Can Buy

• Food: Kibble, canned food, treats (breed/age specific).
• Toys: Balls, discs, plushies, bubble blowers.
• Accessories: Collars, leashes, hats, glasses, ribbons.
• Care items: Brushes, shampoo, toothbrush.
• Training aids: Whistle, clicker, agility equipment.

Currency is earned by walking, competing in disc/obedience trials, and finding presents on walks. Item availability varies slightly between Nintendogs, Nintendogs + Cats, and regional versions.
