Temple Run Never Released on Nintendo DSi — Here's Why

No DSi/DSiWare Version Exists

Temple Run (Imangi Studios, 2011) launched on iOS, later Android. Ports exist for Windows Phone 8, Windows 8/10 Store, and Mac. No Nintendo DS/DSi/3DS version was ever made.

Why Not?

• DSiWare size limit (initially 20 MB, later 30 MB) — Temple Run ~50+ MB.
• Touchscreen-only design; DSi has resistive touch + buttons — poor fit.
• Imangi focused on smartphone explosion; Nintendo platforms not targeted.

Similar Games on DSi/3DS

• Rayman 3D (3DS) — runner levels.
• Sonic Generations (3DS) — 2D/3D running.
• DSiWare: Bird & Beans, Paper Airplane Chase — simple endless runners.
• 3DS eShop: Temple Run 2 never ported; Subway Surfers no.

Play Temple Run on a phone/tablet/PC. DSi/3DS library has no equivalent endless runner from Imangi.
