Is Anyone Still Playing WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2008 Online on PS3? Almost Certainly Not

Almost certainly not. The online servers for PS3 games like SvR 2008 were shut down by Sony years ago (GameSpy closure in 2014, followed by Sony's own service terminations).

Why Online Play Is Dead

• Server Shutdown: No central matchmaking exists.
• Game Age: Released in 2007; the community migrated to newer titles (WWE 2K series, AEW games).
• No Updates: No patches, DLC, or events to retain players.

Active Wrestling Game Alternatives

• WWE 2K23 / 2K24 (PS4/PS5, Xbox, PC)
• AEW Fight Forever (Multiplatform)
• Wrestling Empire (Switch, PC, Mobile)

These offer thriving online communities and modern features.
