GTA IV PS3: How to Get a Parachute (No Cheat Code Exists)

There is no cheat code for a parachute in GTA IV on PS3. You must acquire it through gameplay progression.

How to Obtain a Parachute

• Story Mission "A Revenger's Tragedy": After completing this mission (near the end of the game), a parachute spawns permanently on the roof of the MeTV building in Star Junction, Algonquin.
• Multiplayer (Free Mode): Parachutes are available in helicopter spawns and select rooftop pickups.
• The Ballad of Gay Tony DLC: Adds base jumping activities with guaranteed parachute spawns.

Important Warning

Using third-party save editors or mods to spawn items can corrupt your save file, disable trophies, and trigger "cheater" pool matchmaking in multiplayer. Play as Niko intended—earn the chute.
