The Sims 3 PS3: "WooHoo" Mechanics & Rating Context

The Sims 3 (PS3) is rated T for Teen (ESRB) / 12 (PEGI). "WooHoo" is the franchise's universal euphemism for sex—depicted as Sims disappearing under covers with heart/flower particles, giggling, and a moodlet. No nudity, no player control during the act.

How to WooHoo (Legitimate Gameplay)

1. Build Romantic Interest → "Confess Attraction" → "First Kiss" → "Go Steady" → "Propose Marriage" (optional).
2. Have a Double Bed on the lot.
3. Select Sim → Romantic → "WooHoo" (or "Try for Baby" for pregnancy chance).
4. Both Sims must be Young Adult or older.

What You Cannot Do

• No graphic animation, no camera control, no "positions."
• No teen WooHoo (blocked by rating).
• No same-sex pregnancy without mods (PC only). Adoption available.

Why This Design?

Maxis/EA targets broad accessibility. The T/12 rating enables console sales in mainstream retailers. PC mods (WickedWhims, Slice of Life) add explicit content—not on consoles.

Focus on the relationship storytelling: dates, arguments, memories, generations. That's where the depth lives.
