The Sims 3: PC vs. PS2 — Content Comparison (PC Vastly Superior)

Yes, The Sims 3 on PC has vastly more content than the PS2 version. The PS2's hardware limitations forced a stripped-down port.

Key Differences

• Expansion/Game Packs: PC has 11 expansions + 9 stuff packs. PS2 got only a few expansions, zero stuff packs.
• Custom Content (CC): PC supports endless community-made clothes, furniture, worlds, mods. PS2: none.
• Graphics/Performance: PC runs at high resolutions with detail; PS2 is low-res, lower framerate, smaller worlds.
• Modding: PC has script mods, tuning mods, total conversions. PS2: impossible.

For the full, customizable, expandable Sims 3 experience, PC is the only real choice.
