Can You Sell Horses in Red Dead Redemption (PS3)? No—But You Can Upgrade

Horses cannot be sold in Red Dead Redemption (any version). There is no merchant, stable, or menu option to sell them.

Horse Management

Acquisition: Break wild horses, steal, win races, or buy deeds (General Store).
Switching: Whistle for a different broken horse; your previous becomes wild again.
Upgrades (Stables): Buy saddles (stamina), stirrups (speed), reins (handling).
Cosmetics: Change coat, mane, tail at stables.
