How to Set the Time Zone on PS3 (You Can't Manually Set the Clock)
The PlayStation 3 doesn't let you manually set the date and time—it syncs automatically via the internet. The only adjustment you can make is the time zone. Here's how.
From the XMB (main menu), go to Settings.
Select System Settings.
Choose Date and Time.
Select Time Zone.
Scroll to your region and press X to confirm.
The PS3 will now display the correct local time for that zone.
Important Notes
Offline consoles: If your PS3 isn't connected to the internet, you can set the date and time manually, but it will drift without the correct time zone and network sync.
Troubleshooting: If the time remains wrong, verify your network connection, restart the router, or contact Sony Support.
